Organisational Structure
The Prevocational Medical Assurance Services (PMAS) is established within the division of Commissioning and System Improvement and reports to the Chief Medical Officer unit. PMAS facilitates and coordinates prevocational accreditation, to support prevocational training providers with the application process for prevocational recruitment, contribute to medical workforce mapping that assists the Department of Health achieving a sustainable junior workforce in the NT and be a point of jurisdictional coordination in relation to prevocational medical staff matters.
